The Hofburg Foundation was established in 2012 under the Deeds of Trust & Will of our president  Mr. Tullio Angheben, a musician, entrepreneur and philanthropist who has devoted his life to the support and promotion of music in all its diverse expressions. Through the work of the Hofburg Foundation and the Production Company www.multigram.com , Mr Angheben and his family have the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to a lasting artistic legacy that transcends borders and raises awareness and appreciation of music in Europe and beyond.

The Hofburg Foundation supports a broad range of classical symphonic, chamber, choral and vocal music in cooperation with agents and associations, promoting festivals, concerts and music competitions mainly through Associazione Mozart Italia -  www.mozartitalia.org - and as founder of the Museo Giuseppe Verdi in Busseto - www.museogiuseppeverdi.it - with events, productions and concerts.

Among its earliest projects, the Hofburg Foundation was recognized at the Accademy Awards in Los Angeles  for its role in the 1990 Arena di Verona production of Verdi's Requiem Mass held on the occasion of the 45th Anniversary of the explosion of the atomic bomb over Hiroshima. The production was the largest live performance of Verdi’s Requiem ever undertaken. It included legendary tenor Luciano Pavarotti and the 3.000 members of the World Festival Choir, was accompanied by the Moscow Philarmonic Orchestra and conducted by Lorin Maazel. Other projects of note include a production of Zorba the Greek conducted by Mikis Theodorakis and special events and galas.
